Prewired for your Strat with all the flexibility and choice Dragonfire is known for, our Dragonfire Active Bucker Prewired One Hum Guard gives you the choice of an AlNiCo or Ceramic active humbucker pickup loaded on a One Humbucker (1H, One Hum, H) Standard Strat Pickguard cut for one humbucker at the bridge. This pickguard features a shielded electronics area and 11-hole mounting pattern to fit U.S. & Mexican (2002 & newer) Standards. Click HERE for sample guard colors.

Includes a 25K pot, 1 Dragonfire Active Bucker, & 1 volume control hole in your choice of position (check out the image above for a visual of hole placement options). Please be aware that Position 4 may not fit in a standard Strat route; additional routing may be required with this selection.

• Position #0 = NO Hole (electronics will be wired, loose & ready for you)
• Position #1 = Standard Strat Volume Hole
• Position #1.5 = Slight Offset between Position 1 & Position 2
• Position #2 = Standard Strat Middle Tone
• Position #3 = Standard Strat Bottom Tone
• Position #4 = Offset

The Active Ceramic is the ultimate rock and metal pickup. Scorching harmonics and screaming lead tone, this picup has clarity and tone for the most demanding guitarist. The Active AlNiCo is the yang to the ceramic’s ying. Still hot of course, but with an alnico magnet for much warmer tones. The Active AlNiCo will add a rounder feel to your leads and put some chunk in your rhythm playing.

This is an active pickup and will require a 9v battery. We include a stereo jack to shut off the battery when the guitar is unplugged. Battery life is about a 1000 hours average.
